'It Was Just a Dream...A Nightmare.' 9TSR Chap 1

Yay! Look who is finally getting around to illustrating this thing! I've been battling with myself literally for YEARS on how to illustrate Savior Returns. I went back and forth between sketch, pen, pen and sketch, or completely digital. I finally just went with outlining in pen and shading with pencil, which I feel most comfortable with. This first one isn't perfect, but it looks the best out of all of them I've done. 

Highly inspired by the works of my good friend, I really wanted to get this story illustrated, not only so I can do something special with it, but so I can finally be finished with it. I won't be finished with 9 for a long time, but I've been working on Savior almost seven years now and want to move on to more awesome things! 

Here's the illustration for Chapter 1, as 7 comforts 9 from his horrible nightmare. I'm actually pretty happy how it came out, and can't wait to start on the rest! But for tonight, I'm tired and feel like doodling some skeletons and fabulous robots. 

...aaaaand I just saw I forgot to shade in 9's wrist collar. Oh well.
